BABY EVAN and family...

Heather here, filling in for the beautiful recoverying Farrah. We had a wonderful day yesterday here in Logan, UT. Everyone made it close to ontime, Grandma and Grandpa made a trip to "Canada" and still made the temple. Here we are infront of the Logan temple, my favorite temple! :) Thanks to all those who came in town and the surprise visit from Uncle Doug and Aunt Karen. Shout out to Arden who made a delicious chicken dinner. Yum.

New Addition...still no name!!!

Here are a few pictures to introduce our new little guy to the family. He is definitely little. He weighed 6.1 and was 19 inches long. Labor was very quick and I was actually surprised at how fast that little guy shot out of there. Almost like the Doctor was taking a hike from the center. Farrah was a TROOPER. The epideral (?) didn't take in time so she did it "like a real woman" according to mom. She really wanted to push earlier and kept asking the nurse but they had to wait for the Doctor. He was honestly there a total of about 3-5 minutes before little man arrived. The nurse was telling her to wait and I thought Arden was going to kill the nurse. Farrah was ready to "get'r done". By the way...anyone wishing to have mom or Arden present in the delivery room better get used to them telling EVERYONE that walks in that they had ALL their children natural. Cue the background applause....anyways. Farrah told her mom that she will not be present ever again if she mentions it one more time. So, now Farrah can say the same. She was great. The Doctor that did the epideral came in later to apologize for not getting that working and said he couldn't speed it up. Baby and Farrah are doing great. He is a much better nursing baby than Raegan. It has been a wonderful last few days. Farrah is amazing and more beautiful than before. Thanks for all the calls and texts. I will put up some more pics tonight or tomorrow. Keep checking!!!

Playin' a little catch up...

Well, don't think this is the only new post...keep scrolling down and as you do you will notice I have put up about 3 or 4 new ones...trying to catch up. My computer has been down and I finally got it up and running again, so set aside a few minutes and catch up with us. We are finally back in Logan and we got a bike for Shawn the other day. He has been riding to work and back and loves it. But more he has been taking Rae out in the trailer and Raegan loves her bike rides. Thats how we get her to go to bed half the time is tell her she can go on a bike ride with daddy when she wakes up. We have been enjoying the weather and went to the DuBose's for more fun in the sun. She had a blast with the kids in the pool, on the slip n' slide, jumping on the tramp, and tapping into her creative artistic side with the sidewalk chalk. It was great. Lanonie made some home-made pizza that was magnificent and I took over a delightful chocolate neat treat with ice-cream. We didn't get home 'till 9pm and Rae slept in the following morning until 10:30!!!! It was wonderful. Also, I added some pics of Rae kissing her little brother and a little family pic...oh how cute!

More fun...

My little Pre-Madonna...

Well, I guess there is a first for everything, and because I wasn't able to get a sitter for Rae, she was able to experience her first pedicure as I was able to experience my first pedicure. Doesn't seem quite right considering she's 2 and Im almost 26, but what can ya do. Bug treated all the bridesmaid's to a pedicure and Rae came along and was great the whole time as the lady's polished her nails. She was so excited that the first thing she would do when approached by anybody was hold out her hand and then whip her shoe off to show-off her little toes....and say "nails so preddy"...SO CUTE! Along with the pedicure, she dressed in a princess dress for the wedding and she did not want to take it off. She loves to be fancy. We had a great time with Bugs wedding. All went well except for the weather...the only day of the two weeks I was there that it rained :( but it worked out. I was able to escort her through the temple as she received her endowments as well for her sealing and it was pretty neat. Im just glad I made it through myself without my water breaking or passing out. Anyhow, our stay was long (2 weeks) in Alpine as Shawn was off to California recruiting then to Washington to learn new coaching skills, but it all worked out perfectly as I would have had to be there anyway for a little support to my mom and Bugs wedding. Just a few pics from our long stay...enjoy!

Happy Birthday Raegan...our angel!

Finally Im able to tell you all what a special little girl we have! I know its been a few weeks since her birthday, but just a little low-down on the special day. Shawn and I were so busy on her actual birthday with Bug's wedding (my best friend) that we weren't able to celebrate her birthday until the next day. We had just a small get together with family and shared some cake, ice-cream, and presents. It was pretty funny watching Rae open her gifts, it was almost like she wasn't quite sure how to rip open the paper so my little sisters were more than happy to help her out. She was not a very happy camper cause she has woken up from a nap right before everyone arrived so as you can see in one of the pics, she had a very solumn and expressionless face the entire time she opened her gifts. It wasn't until everyone left that she was able to show her excitement. Thank you everyone for the special day and all the fun presents! I now have to express how grateful and blessed I am for having these last 2 years of my life spent every single day and night with my little Rae. My dad used to always say..."this is what life is all about" as he would smile at his kids and I never really understood that until now. Its soooooooo true. She gives me a purpose and joy in life that I wouldn't exchange for anything else in this world. I love being her mom. She is such a funny, vibrant, smart, tender and caring, fiesty little angel. I love her like I can't describe and the best part about that is I know she loves me! She is a true miracle in our lives and Im so happy to have the rest of eternity with her and my little family. I love you so much Raegan. You are just the Rae of sunshine in our lives!
