Rise and Shout...Olmstead is OUT!!!

Yeah...just a little update for anyone who cares...we have moved yet again. Shawn was offered the assistant coach position at BYU...SO...Happy Valley...here we come! Crazy how our lives have basically made a full circle, start at the Y, now back at the Y. We are super excited to be closer to so much family and many friends! So far Shawn is enjoying it, difficult and a lot of work, but he's happy. And what can I say, living under my family isn't that bad. I have 2 babysitters that love and play with Rae all day! She is having a blast with them. Alix and Kobie have been great...big sisters Rae never had. I do catch them occasionally trying to hide from her or ditch her, but not too surprised. I did the same thing to my sisters. It's pretty funny actually. I don't blame them one bit. Rae cannot get enough of them. I have to thank my little sissy's, Al and Kobster, for putting up with so much of Rae...she is a lot of work to play with:) Just for fun, I posted some fond memories of Logan. I actually came to love Logan, despite the extreme difficulty it was to make friends there, I don't know what the deal was, but I really actually TRIED, and for those of you who know me well, that's not normal...and still was quite unsuccessful. Guess everyone is just too busy these days to have friends. Despite that minor difficulty, we loved it there. The DuBose family was WONDERFUL to us. They took us in and cared for us like family. If it weren't for Lenonnie, I may have died that day I so intellegently broke into my own house and sliced my wrist wide open (and arm and leg:). But she really rescued me on many occasions, and I have to say I absolutely love her and her family. If you open the dictionary and look up the word 'kind', you will find 'The Lenonnie and Grayson DuBose Family' as the definition! Just plain kind! We loved playing with them, and loved a lot more about Logan. The parks, our many walks with beautiful views, all the holidays...Halloween and Christmas, Becca's visits, the crazy snow and sledding, Hardware Ranch, the horses, the zoo, potty-training...NOT!, and simply watching both my kids spend their very early years there. Evan was born there and Rae was just a year when we moved in. It was a great move for us and I know I'm going to miss it.

Priceless Safety

We have one gait for one set of stairs...and I guess Raegan can be the other. She thought of it all on her own, pretty clever I must admit. Our little Evan is a crawling machine, though it took some time, he is already pulling himself up and determined to ditch the crawling and move on to walking. I love my kids...THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!! and the cutest:)
