Thanks Grandma Arden!!!

Alright, it's Shawn again. Well last week Arden came up on Thursday afternoon and stayed until Saturday afternoon. I would personalize a whole "blog" post to her but she won't read this. We do love and are very thankful she came. She brought Kobie and Alix with her. On her way up she bought two blow up mattresses. One was really nice which she left here for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Hint, Hint...Well Raegan was on cloud 9. She would not leave Alix and Kobie alone. They are great with her and seem to enjoy her just as much. They went to the zoo and we all went out to Cafe Sabor and did a bunch of other things. Good times!! Enjoy the photos!!

Raegan, Raegan, Raegan....

Raegan is learning more and more each day. Obviously it is all pretty entertaining. She tells Kaya to shut up (thanks Dad), started with her abc's, wants to hold Kaya, laughs when she farts and says "I farted", and now tries to talk her way out of going to sleep. She will tell you she is hungry or that she wants to read a book. She sleeps with Big Blue who dad bought for her. She loves Big Blue. She met him at the basketball games and while we are there she will watch him no matter where he is in the stadium. He gave her high five once and so Raegan will now give her stuffed Big Blue a "hi five" in bed. Dad loves to get her out of bed and when he does he sneaks his head around the corner and Raegan always says "Hi Dad."

Well, somehow I forgot to post a few pics from my lengthy stay in Alpine a while back so here they are. Raegan was in Heaven with Alix and Kobie. She woke up every morning asking for Kobie. She really is obsessed with Kobie for some reason. She would follow her all around the house so much that I would have to sometimes relieve Kobie so she wouldn't kill Rae. Anyway, her obsession didn't stop there. She is absolutely in love with Becca. Anytime she would hear the door from the garage open and close, she would say "hi Becca" without knowing whether it was her or not. Anyway, I told Becca to check out our blog thinking I had posted these picture of her and Rae, but I hadn't yet, so here ya go Beccs. ENJOY!

Almost every morning Raegan gets to shower with Dad. The other morning Shawn was lifting her up by her thighs so she could look over the curtain. I thought the opportunity for a picture was too cute to miss.

Raegan's Walk

What's up everyone!! This is Shawn. Thanks for all the birthday wishes and remembering me since chances are I will forget YOU!!! :) Anyways...the weather has been amazing here. I went to work in shorts and a t-shirt yesterday. So we have been going on walks with Raegan to the park and other places. Well the other day she wanted to take her duck on a walk in her baby stroller. Raegan made it around the whole block with not one problem pushing her duck in the stroller the whole time. (Notice the swim diaper on the duck!!) I couldn't stop laughing. I knew everyone would enjoy that. I wish Mom and Dad would come out here for Spring Break. Everyone (excluding Andertons and Nicole) will be in Provo area. Hint, Hint.... Oh yeah....my wife is the most beautiful, sexy pregnant woman ever!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAWN!

Well as most of you know, yesterday was Shawn's birthday...29th birthday! WOW...that seems pretty old and this is the first time I have ever seen or heard Shawn state any concern about his old age. Quite funny:) Anyway, aside from the grandpa Shawn bizness, we didn't do anything too special. I took him to breakfast at the local diner here, made some burgers for dinner and whipped up a yummy cake...and of course I provided him with his all time must have on special occasions... 'vanilla swiss almond haagen daaz' ice-cream. We are saving up our birthday gifts to get ourselves a recliner, so he didn't receive much more from me than a card and some balloons, but he has my whole heart forever and I hope that is enough for now. I just wanted to post some memory pics of Shawn back in the day, as well as some of him as the wonderful husband and father he is. Shawn, Rae and I want to wish you a happy birthday and also want you to know how much we love you! Raegan wakes up every day from her nap asking if "daddy coming?" She loves and adores every second she gets with him...and so do I. Happy Birthday Shawn!

Here are just a couple of cute pics taken of Raegan. She is getting so big its hard to believe. She loves to share anything edible with Kaya, and Kaya sure doesn't mind. She sits on our kitchen floor with Kaya right beside her as they take turns with bites. She loves her dog and so do we!

Raegan's only friend...

What a beautiful day! Rae and I spent the afternoon outside soaking up as much sunshine as we could get. It felt sooooooo good to feel that lovely sun again. Feels like we've been in a cave for months...I guess we kindof have. Anyway, we made a snowman together. Raegan thoroughly enjoyed herself as it was her job to find the rocks for the eyes, nose, mouth, and buttons. She sang and sang to herself the whole time. I was laughing pretty hard. That is her new little discovery...her beautiful musical voice. She wakes up singing, rides in the car singing, walks around the house singing, bathes singing...it is GREAT! A whole lot better than screaming. She is one of a kind. It didn't take long for our snowman to melt because the sun has been out quite a bit lately, so I had to snap a few shots of Rae lovin' her own little friend that was just her size. She kept giving our snowman hugs and kisses then every once in a while she would lift up her shirt as she gave the snowman a hug and would laugh cuz it was a "cold hug". It was a good day.

Late nights!

Well, I know most of you know about Rae's pooping problems lately, but for those of you that don't, she has been struggling to get those little brown boogers out and when she finally does, they are large and in-charge, and need I say a little painful. SO, after trying every home remedy, we took her in and got her on some miracle medicine. But, before then, she has associated her bedtime with pain only because every time I would put her down to bed, about an hour later she would scream out..."Ouwy poo-poo" and sure enough we would find a ball of joy in her little diapers. Very sad! So, to get to the point, she has been staying up really late due to these traumatizing events in the dark and the picture with her and her daddy is one of those nights...oh...about midnight...just cuddling with her daddy and enjoying some crackers. She is one of a kind. I have to say that she has totally turned into a daddy's little girl. I don't know what happened, but she absolutely adores daddy. It is so great to see her daddy enjoy her just as much. He is really the best dad. He plays with her from the second he gets home from work until she goes down playing house, riding horsey, reading books, wrestling, and much much more. We really love having dad around. He is the best in the west, truly!

it's been quite sometime since I have posted and I apologize! Not a whole lot of time lately, we have been back and forth from Logan to Alpine for different reasons and now...hopefully...we are home atlast! Unfortunately not a lot of exciting events or pictures, but I've put up some fun pics for all to view. Rae's new thing is hats. She makes me wrap scarfs around our heads and then most of the time we just sit there and stare at eachother because she doesn't want to move or it might fall off. She keeps me laughing!
