I will never get ahead.  Playing catch up is too overwhelming a task, rather Ill post what I have and leave the rest to my HORRIBLE memory.  So far, this summer has been filled with A LOT of sun.  We have enjoyed the Highland Splash Pad, Gramma's pool, 7-Peaks, the parks, bike rides, walks with Maya, Bear Lake, Family Reunions, birthday parties, baby #4 announcements (Im about 5 months) and much much more.  I have been horrible with my camera, but this last weekend I had it with me and I went a lil crazy.  Probably because we were doing something I enjoyed just as much as the kids!

We went camping up in the Uintas.  I am embarrassed to say I have never been there all my life that Ive lived here.  It is unbelievable.  Breathtaking.  A little piece of Heaven.  We had the greatest campsight, filled with places for the kids to run wild and use their imaginations...and EXPLORE.  Rae may have gotten a little carried away with her little imagination....imagination mixed with the anxiety that that poor child has, she was SURE she saw a bear.  Tears, drama, the shakes.  The whole bit.  Truly terrified.

 It was a rock  :)

Karalee may have been just as terrified of the same animal.  She scoured the camp every chance she got for food that was left behind for the bear that she was sure to greet us each night.  Shawn threw some peanut M&M's around her tent in hopes that it would get their tent...not ours:)

All in all...it was SO SO SO SO fun.  I cannot wait to do it some more.  We had some seriously good food, all cooked over the flame, and better yet, some good good company.  Enjoy the pics...I sure did:)

Evan and Austin are best little buddies.  Never a fight, tiff, argument...NOTHIN!  They play so amazing together.  I love their friendship...and I know its one that will last.  Ive had a cousin all my life that has had a lasting friendship...its priceless.

Unbelievable company in an unbelievable place!

A lil fishin and baseball in the woods NEVER hurt anyone.  Once again, what a breathtaking veiw while fishing.

Picture one:  Alittle for you.
Picture two:  And...
Picture three: A little for me!

Kade was so kind to share his RANCH off his carrot stick.  HA!

Little Mayci Face.  Could you ask for a cuter mess?!?!  Me either.

Mayci did not leave our camping excursion without a few bumps, bruises, and some serious dirt stuck under her nails...and everywhere else for that matter.  On the ride home she did the unbelievable and fell asleep right on my lap.  I was in complete heaven as I stroked her little head and was able to stare at her snoring.  I also snapped a few pictures of her wounds.  She was a champ.  I love camping for every part of it, but love it most for the fact that its the only time you can enjoy being dirty.  For kids...heavenly.

These are some pretty excited faces!  This was the pre-camp clean face.  Making tinfoils, in the camper with Maya, peering out the window asking, "Are we almost there mom?!" a thousand times.  What a fun time!

10 years. Easter. And a librarian at heart.

I guess I must give credit where credit is deserved.  This year Shawn and I celebrated 10 years of being married. Quite an accomplishment:)  I woke up to a dozen (plus 2) roses in a vase, and 10 others hidden all over the house with little notes of l.o.v.e attached to them.  I was shocked.  Yes, there was a time Shawn totally and completely FORGOT our anniversary...and was only reminded that it was our special day when I handed him my gift I had for him.  So...to go from forget, to this...I thought I was dreaming.

This made my day.  Every once in awhile I bug Shawn and make him give me three reasons of what he loves about me (that dont involve the words gorgeous and beautiful)  Here were 10, TEN, things he wrote down that had nothing to do with how beautiful I am...and I loved loved loved every. single. one. of. them!  Im looking forward to the next 10 years with my one and only.  To think of the day when that number says 20...We will be enjoying a  17, 15, 13, and 10 year old (and possibly more numbers than that!)  Crazy!!  Love you Shawn.

And this would be Easter.  I know.  We always do things in the glamourous fashion:)  Nope, just the most practical way.  Kids enjoyed every second of coloring the eggs.  Mayci had gone to bed early that night...darn:)

Raegan may end up as a librarian when she grows up.  She seriously LOVES books, and LOVES to read to anyone and everyone that will listen.  Here she is, reading to some pretty cute kids and a princess.  Love it with all my heart.

Onto Kindergarten...What?!?

I managed to bring my camera with me on this very special day...so proud of myself.  This is the day Evan graduated from his beloved preschool.  Watching him, or any of my kids, in progams, somehow makes me emotional.  Why?  Evan is so different from Raegan when it comes to performing...he actually participates.  Its always been that way.  I still remember going to nursery and watching him sing to all the songs with all the hand movements and everything.  I was stunned.  Rae never ever did that.  She would prefer to observe.  Anyway, it was fun to watch him participate.

Standing amongst all his little buddies.  He is one handsome dude if I say so myself!

I love you Evan.  Congrats on growing up and graduating from Preschool.  The teachers said you were a joy to have in the class...and I believe them:)

I was there!!

Thought I would document the fact that Shawn and I were in Brazil together!  I realized I haven't added a single picture of him and I enjoying such a great week together.  It was amazing.

This is where we stayed for the first few nights.  It was so beautiful.  Aside from the fact that we had NO...I mean NO...hot water (it was take.your.breath.away. cold water) for showers...I cant complain at all!  It was so amazing!

Here is Shawn, mauling my ear.

Copacabana Beach.  Bliss.

There is Shawn...trying to play with the kids.  He just jumped right in.  Fun to watch.

Surf Comp at Epinema.  Look how gorgeous.

Hottie, on Epinema.

Hottie, at Rio Sul, the infamous mall in Rio.  We werent as facinated with the mall after the kind of taxi ride we had getting to and from it.  Most unbelievable driving I have ever had the chance of experiencing.  Trudy and I just braced ourselves.  We didnt want to get ripped off, so we told the driver that he was to take us home in the same amount of time if took for us to get there...5 minutes...5 minutos we said.  He didnt speak English...but you could clearly tell he was trying to tell us it will be a little longer...and in telling us that, he was driving with panic and fear and anxiety, trying his darndest to get us back in the time we required of him.  I tried my best to tell him to calm down, but he kept on goin with his unknown language and panic, until we arrived.  Alive.  Barely breathing.  Poor guy.
